During their official debut, SM Entertainment generated significant anticipation through a series of teasers, introducing each member and their speciality. This innovative marketing approach garnered immense attention.


Previously EXO gained immense popularity and recognition. Their debut EP was followed by successful releases, including "Wolf," "Growl," and "Miracles in December."

Over the years, the group experienced several member changes due to various reasons, such as members leaving, enlisting in the military, or focusing on solo careers. Lay, a Chinese member, often pursued solo activities in China.


To maximize versatility and appeal, EXO formed subunits, including EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin) and EXO-SC (Sehun and Chanyeol), each exploring different musical styles.

International Popularity:

EXO quickly gained international recognition and a massive global fanbase known as EXO-Ls. They embarked on successful world tours and performed in various countries.
